LITTMAN® CARDIOLOGY III STETHOSCOPES
The Littman Cardiology III stethoscope offers two tunable diaphragms which allows the user to conveniently alternate between low- and high-frequency sounds without turning over the
chest piece. The large side can be used for adult patients, while the small side is especially useful for pediatric or thin patients, around bandages, and for carotid assessment.
The pediatric side of the chest piece easily converts to a traditional bell by simply replacing the diaphragm with the nonchill bell sleeve included with each stethoscope.
Two tunable diaphragms allow the user to conveniently alternate between the low- and high-frequency sounds without turning over the
chest piece.
Dual-lumen design eliminates tube noise artifact from two tubes rubbing together.

The proprietary Ambient Noise Reduction (ANR) technology, internal
to the chestpiece, acoustically cancels out an average of 75% of
distracting room noise, greatly enhancing overall utility. This
acoustic canceling effect is different from
electronic filtering, which may also filter out some portions of
body sounds clinicians need to hear.
Because of the unique design of its diaphragm and sensor, the
Model 3000 can be used comfortably on all body types and sizes.
The versatile chestpiece can accommodate infant, pediatric and
adult patients, and it is ergonomically designed for easy hand
manipulation and patient comfort.
Amplification is up to 18 times greater than the best
non-electronic stethoscopes. Ambient Noise Reduction (ANR)
technology. Ergonomic, one-button control allows you to adjust
volume and frequency mode with one finger. Single AAA battery
provides up to 200 hours (approximately 6 months) of use.

The Littmann Electronic Stethoscope Model 4100 features amplification and proprietary Ambient.
Noise Reduction (ANR) technology allowing you to reduce ambient noise by an
average of 75% (-12dB) without eliminating critical body sounds. Three
frequency modes are available for listening to heart, lung, and other
body sounds: Bell (20-200 Hz), Diaphragm (100-500 Hz), and Extended Range (20-1000 Hz).
In addition, digital signal processing offers recording, storage, and playback capabilities,
as well as the ability to transfer recorded sounds via an infrared transmission to another Model 4100 or Model 4000 or IBM-compatible computer or hand-held device.
