ACCU-CHEK®
ADVANTAGE
The Accu-Chek Advantage is easy to use but has been overtaken by other meters in features and usability for
kids. The Comfort Curve test strips requires 3 microliters of blood, ten times more than the industry leading Flash meter. The Advantage test time of 26 seconds is also five times that of the fastest meters (now five seconds). Because blood volume and testing time are very important for kids with diabetes, the Accu-Chek Advantage is probably not the best choice for this age group.
The Comfort Curve test strip allows more blood can be added to the strip within 15 seconds and works over an increased temperature range (57 to 104 degrees F). The Accu-Chek Advantage was also improved for 2005, with a 480 test memory, as well as 7-, 14-, and 30-day averages.
Accu-Chek Advantage comes with the highly rated Accu-Chek Softclix lancing device.
